Peter founded Software Holdings in the early 1970s. His career spans over 45 years in IT and telecommunications, beginning at IBM in the mid-1960s.
Over his career, Peter has been involved in 15 IT business startups and held management roles across sales, marketing, operations, strategic planning, and business restructuring.
His deep experience navigating multiple technology cycles gives Software Holdings a perspective that goes well beyond a single market generation.
One of Peter's most successful ventures was the FTU Support business which grew alongside Australian telecommunications provider Optus from the early 90s until its acquisition by Optus in the late 2000s. Navigating the Y2K upgrade for Optus across a network of international billing providers was a highlight.
